there´s one point nobody seems to have noticed about the whole Skrull-Thing. Apocalypse: The Twelve. it´s a X-men Storyline from a few Years ago where Wolverine already was replaced by a Skrull, so the real one could become Death, horseman of Apocalypse.
Also in that Storyline the Beast invented a gas that causes Skrulls to revert back to their original form.
During the whole Secret Invasion everybody just seems to have completely forgotten about Apocalypse: The Twelve.
By the way, what´s up with Cadre K anyway? Were they killed during Annihilation or have they also just been forgotten?

Interesting theories. I wouldn’t mind Wolverine being a Skrull. I’m tempted to just see something bad happen to Wolverine because I hate how he’s in so many titles at these point. I don’t know if him being a Skrull would change that, but it’d be interesting if nothing else.

I have my doubts about Jean Grey being real, I feel like her return would be major in the X-books, which don’t seem very involved in the Skrull story right now. Doubts about Emma and Beast as well.

Great write-up about the first issue. Overall I found it pretty enjoyable, although the possibility that some of my favorite characters are Skrulls is kind of… weird.

I have also speculated heavily into who is and is not a Skrull on my site. Right now the only ones I feel pretty confident about are Wonder Man and Beast.
